About International Collaboration Department of NTUU “KPI”

International Collaboration Department (ICD) provides organizational, methodological and representative assistance of international cooperation of the University. International collaboration and foreign economic activity of NTUU “KPI” are carried out according to effective legislation of Ukraine, to the Statute of NTUU “KPI” and regulations of the University.

The main tasks of the Department are as follows (according to ‘Regulations on the International Collaboration Department of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”‘):

  • coordination of activity of University departments in relation to international cooperation;
  • development of the network of joint structures with international organizations;
  • support of international agreements and state-level projects;
  • interaction with government bodies on employment of foreign experts at NTUU ‘KPI’;
  • development of the network of international offices managed by the Heads of subdivisions as a driving force of international activity;
  • training and coordination of project managers of subdivisions;
  • organization and support of subdivisions in establishment of the program of Double-degree Diploma (‘Diploma of two universities-partners’)
  • support of the state program of academic mobility ‘100+100+100’;
  • support of student self-management units in creation of a system of international activity, strengthening of international dialogue and mobility;
  • and others.

Department structure includes:

1. Department of Foreign Economic Activity:

  • Sector of foreign contacts and customs escort;
  • Sector of cooperation with UNIDO, UNDP, BSUN, etc.;
  • Sector of media relations;
  • Sector of joint international structures:

1) Structures of university level (UNESCO Chair, National office of BSUN, Ukraine-Japan Center, Ukrainian-French Center, Ukrainian-Polish Center, Ukrainian-Korean Center, Ukrainian-Chinese Centre, Ukrainian-German Center, Ukrainian Gender Education Centre, NetCracker, other joint structures of university level);

2) Structures at subdivision level.

2. Department of International Relations and Protocol Support:

  • Sector of protocol and visa matters;
  • Sector of foreign business trips;
  • Sector of Program ‘100+100+100’;
  • Sector of interuniversity cooperation;
  • Sector on organization of international events;
  • Sector on infrastructure support of international events.

3. International Projects Department:

  • Sector on coordination of cooperation with international organizations (UNESCO, STCU, EC, etc.);
  • Sector of international scientific programs and National Contact Points of 7FP;
  • Sector of international educational programs (TEMPUS, FULBRIGHT, ERASMUS MUNDUS, etc.) and cooperation with international ratings;
  • Center on information support of international activity.

4. Advisory bodies of ICD:

  • Council of Heads of joint international structures;
  • Council of Deputy Directors of Institutes, Deans of Faculties on international activity.
